There is an abundance of these studios throughout Sausalito & Marin
County, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern California. These locations are

"Commercial Buildings and Private Home Studios"
Many of the local and regional Art Organizations feature annual or semi annual
events.
If you are unable to attend these public events, the artists invite and suggest that as a collector of interest, to contact
them and make a appointment, to personally meet the artist, and tour their gallery
collection of art works.

Sausalito Artists Open Studios ICB
Building
Sausalito is rich
in history from the 1800's forward to modern day. Marinship
which was well known for its ship building during the war,
was vacated at the end of the war.
Today this facility is the working studio for 100 artists, &
small business services, The ICB Building (Marinship) now
opens the Artists Studios for two public events. The Spring
Marin Open Studios Tour is held in
early
May
12,13 - 2012.
This event has returned to its original format of two
weekends. For

community of local artists is home base for a multitude of professional
artists working in a wide variety of artistic genres and media;

Sausalito's historic art scene for over twenty five years.

The San
Anselmo Art Studios
were established twenty-five year ago
at the old Isabel Cook Elementary School. The building was constructed
in 1927 as the Red Hill School, then re-named in 1949 for a beloved
principal. The school closed in 1975.
A wide range of mediums- oil, watercolor, pastel, printmaking,
photography, mixed media and sculpture- are represented as well as a
wide range of subject matter and styles.

Arts Festival, it will be celebrating its 56th year and
attracts 50,000 visitors over the three day

their combined perspectives, virtuoso skills, and more than
20,000 original works of art — including paintings,
sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass,

one-of-a-kind and limited edition Art Works form an
unparalleled collection that can only be seen once a year.

Artists
of Issaquah
Each
April,
this year on
Saturday, April 28, 11 am to 5 pm,

2012. Sausalito’s colorful floating homes community
will present the Artists of Issaquah free exhibition. Guests
will have an opportunity to view and purchase a wide variety
of outstanding art, while getting a rare chance to be inside
some of the most unique homes in the world.
15 resident artists of Issaquah Dock and 8 artists from
Liberty Dock will be showing paintings, photography,
sculpture and mixed media work at reasonable prices.
The Sausalito floating homes community includes some 400
houseboats and boasts a rich history of creative expression.
The Artists of Issaquah are maintaining this tradition with
their sixth annual exhibition.

The Caledonia St Fair
On
May
27th,
2012
the Sausalito Art Fair, sponsored by the
Sausalito Nursery School.
Enjoy 100+ artists, fine food, wine, live music and a
children's entertainment area featuring music, theater and
activities just for kids! Admission to the Spring Faire is
free. The Sausalito Spring Faire is an annual fundraiser for
Sausalito Nursery School.
This event is now combined with
The Caledonia St Fair
which also
features over 100 artists of all mediums who participate in
the one day event. Over 5,000 people attended the fair last
year. The Fair has a strong
focus on music and dance performances, with three stages of
live entertainment. A special children's area on the lawn at
City Hall provides art and activities for our littlest
residents. There are always surprises at this event, so
don't miss out. The show goes on, rain or shine.
